• State Bank & Trust - http://statebanks.com  State Bank & Trust is the best bank in the FM area.   They are privately owned, so they are not beholden to shareholders at the expense of their employees or customers.  We have never been charged a fee, never paid for checks, never paid an ATM fee.  Their staff have always been outstanding, they know what they are doing, the company obviously spends resources training their staff. Their online banking is not very innovative, after their last upgrade they took away several useful features with really no positive additions.  They aren't large enough to have their own custom system, they use one designed by Information Technology Inc (PremierEcom), which is a pretty lame generic name for a company. But even though their online banking isn't the best, they are still the best choice for banking in the FM and surrounding areas.
